No! The workshops are designed to cover from the basics to the details and everything in between. Heather will review all learners prior experience and tailor the sessions to suit all backgrounds.
The workshops are suitable for those new to complex care as well as professionals who want to refresh their skills or gain accredited training. We start with the core principles and build from there, so you understand not just what to do, but why you’re doing it.
There is plenty of hands-on practice using simulation equipment in a small, supportive group.
Attendees should already be working in, or planning to move into, a health or care role where these skills are relevant, as the focus is on safe, accountable practice in real-world settings.

Yes! The sessions can be adapted to suit the needs of all attendees. This workshop is suitable for registered nurses working in community, complex care, paediatric, adult or private care settings who wish to develop or refresh their practical skills in PEG feeding and respiratory care.
It is particularly valuable for nurses transitioning into community complex care roles, those supporting tracheostomy or PEG-fed clients, or those requiring structured CPD evidence of skills training.
The session focuses on safe, hands-on practice, clinical reasoning and recognising deterioration, supporting nurses to practice confidently within their scope and in line with UK professional standards.
-
Yes. All attendees receive a CPD Standards Office accredited certificate of skills training on completion of the workshops. The certificate confirms attendance and practical skills training undertaken during the session, as well as CPD hours achieved.
